--------- Hi,
in former C4D releases the 4th digit beeing "3" was the indicator for a temporary serial. Has that behavior changed?
A customer asks for a new plugin license to run with his final R18 serial. The former serial is 148044*****, the current one is 148040*****. So the 6th digit has changed from "4" to "0".
Is that a change from temporary to permanent? Or is it another kind of legal update?
Thanks for any hints.

OK, I assume it is a Short-Term License https://www.maxon.net/en/nc/buy/license-options/short-term-licenses/
It would be helpful to know, if we could rely on the 6th digit beeing "4" in these short-term license keys. Otherwise we cannot differentiate time limited licenses from permanent ones.
Any comments?
Thanks.
