What I want to do is to click on a button in a GeDialog and disable an element in a VideoPostData plugin.
So, I implement VideoPostData's GetDEnabling to disable that element if the button is clicked in the dialog.
I also add EventAdd in button's callback.
Is this the right way to do it ?
EventAdd seems to be heavy since it refreshes everything, while I want to refresh ony the render settings.
THank you for your time.

your approach seems a bit unorthodox to me. At least I'm not aware of places, where VideoPost settings are influenced in this was. So there's actually no right (in the sense of common) way to do it.
That being said, I'm not aware of a better way.
