    Hi,
I'm trying to create a RigidBodyTag on a BaseObject to add some Simulation Data. Unfortunately I was unable to find a hint in the forum or documentation how I could do this using C++. Has anybody already tried/done this and could give me some hints on how i could achieve this? I would appreciate any tip

    Regards Sebastian

    Hello and welcome,

to create something in Cinema 4D you have to know the element's ID. If the ID or a corresponding symbol cannot be found in the documentation it is always possible to get the ID from an existing element using GetType().

The ID of the Dynamics Tag is 180000102. The most simple way to add a tag to an object is to use MakeTag().

    best wishes,
    Sebastian
