--------- Hi,
in my SceneLoader plugin I want to build the dialog depending on the input file. So I am looking for a way to get the filename before the dialog is shown. MSG_DESCRIPTION_IMPEXPORT_INIT would be perfect for my case, if it would just contain the filename of the selected file.. Is there any possibility to achieve this?
Best, Burak

Hello,
you already do receive the filename in your SceneLoaderData plugin. It is given to you when Cinema calls the Identify() method of your plugin. So you could simply store the filename in a member variable and use it later when you need it.
Best wishes, Sebastian

Ahh I thought about this, but I assumed that Identify() gets called for all visible items in the browse dialog to filter them. Thanks for your fast response!
