My other option is to create a separate window using the c4d.CUSTOMGUI_TREEVIEW command. However documentation does not exist for this. With some extensive Googling I found Pim Groof may possible have a solution but the site is currently down. And I found Niclas over at Github But tying to reverse engineer what he did seems strange due to importing elements from code that is not listed?
Does anyone have some code they would be willing to share with the community that would be great!
