I am looking for a way to sort objects in a list based on their polygon count. Is there a way to tell the object manager to sort by poly count?

My other option is to create a separate window using the c4d.CUSTOMGUI_TREEVIEW command. However documentation does not exist for this. With some extensive Googling I found Pim Groof may possible have a solution but the site is currently down. And I found Niclas over at Github But tying to reverse engineer what he did seems strange due to importing elements from code that is not listed?

Does anyone have some code they would be willing to share with the community that would be great!

You have to look up the method-names and arguments in the C++ SDK. I've just published the
code of my Quick Docs plugin which implements the TreeViewFunctions class. Its just another
example implementation, the tree-view used in  c4dprototyping  does not much different.

I also have a fairly robust Python tree gui example on my site.
