I have been struggling with this for a few hours now.
I have created a simple Python plugin that generates a simple cube, the same as the default Python Generator object.
In the Python Generator version, if you uncheck Optimize Cache, and the code contains some matrix transformation in time, like multiplying the matrix with a MatrixMove vector with the current frame as vector.x, the object renders with the animation, as expected.
Now I translated the same code into a Python plugin. In the viewport, the object animates (I already added the self.SetOptimizeCache(False) in the def __init__(self) : )
When I try to make a preview or render the scene, the object renders without animation.
The question, is there an additional flag that I need to set in the Python plugin to get the same behavior as the unchecked Optimize Cache from the Python Generator object?

Answering my own question, the problem seems to be coming from the current frame variable. If I use a manually incrementing variable instead, the animation renders normally. Bug?
