What happened to 'struppercase'??

In V8 COFFEE doesn't seem to know 'struppercase' which I use for the automatic name search in some of my plugins to keep the name search not case sensitive. Is it reincluded in the official release (I have only my early bird yet.) or will it be in a future release? Is there an alternative?
Well, and thinking about it, how can I include those 'link boxes' I may use with the user data in my dialog layouts?

I cannot find this in the old documentation. Perhaps it was a private function. I believe it had this interface: (The same as String::ToUpper() in C++.)

Could you be a bit more specific? None of the new user interface elements, including the attributes manager, can be used by C.O.F.F.E.E. code in 8.012.
