I want to open a new Texture view and close it later on. Opening is ok, but closing does not work. I took the commands from the Script Log.
c4d.CallCommand(170103) # New Texture View... .... c4d.CallCommand(12097) # Close

Hi Pim,
12097 is a general close command. I can't tell you how it works exactly, but it is called whenever you close a dialog in Cinema via Shift+W or the close command from the File menu.
Interestingly, it does nothing when being called from Python, but closes the whole application when being called from COFFEE.
I'll report back when I have additional information.

This is a limitation of the Python implementation.
