Hi, since i upgraded to r14 i get the following errors when trying to compile for 64bit:

Fehler: Die Regel "ConfigurationGeneral" fehlt im Projekt. (The ConfigurationGeneral rule is missing from the project.)

i get this for the c4dsdk, too. so it must be something general.. any advice is appreciated.

cheers,
Ello

edit. seems it has nothing to do with upgrading (just looked like) but mor with some update thing. i am trying to uninstall the sdk and reinstall

additional information, this is how it looks for win32:

and this is how it looks for the 64bit configuration:

ok, seems to have something to do with those updates. i've deinstalled the whole thing and reinstalled vc 2010 express and the sdk. however, now i am getting quite some fatal errors:

c:\program files\maxon\cinema 4d r14\resource\_api\ge_sys_math.h(4) : fatal error C1083: Datei (Include) kann nicht geöffnet werden: "math.h": No such file or directory

For VC 2010 Express, you need to also install the SDK for Windows 7.1 for 64-bit builds. See this article:

thank you for the input. i already came along that site and for now i think it is a gerenar problem since after all the reinstallations i cannot even compile the 32bit anymore. and the settings for x64 are there again, too. so now it must be something other. missing math.h seems like a general issue, i just dont have a clue

Your first screenshot shows that you are still using v100 and not the Windows7.1SDK in the Plattformtoolset.  If you have made that change then I'm not sure what is incorrect.

yes, sorry for the confusion. i changed that to Windows7.1, the screens are just outdated
