as Maxon supporters rarely answer questions that are off-topic to the current topic, I'll give it an extra topic.
When the Python API is extended, can't MAXON make an Update for more than just the current release?
For example: If ObjectData.GetHandle() and similar will be implemented in an Update for R14 (that's not fact, just a guess), we have three release that all act different on handle-handling.
Although Python is a mostly platform-independent language, plugin-code will become absolutely release- _ in_ dependent, and this is an even bigger disadvantage in my eyes. (There are two main OS, but there would be 3 different releases )
Thanks in advance,
