Here's a simple example of using the splineGUI:https://sites.google.com/site/scottayersmedia/MySplineGUItag.zip
Never mind guys. I kept working on it until I finally got it all working.
My brain is totally fried from starring at this thing all weekend.
I'll leave the file posted here in case anyone needs a boost getting started with the splineGUI.
I don't even want to think about splineGUI's for the next few days

I don't have much time to test your plugin now, but I did take a quick look into the source.
def Execute(self, tag, doc, op, bt, priority, flags) :
bc = tag.GetDataInstance() #Get the tag's container so we can use the various gizmos in it
** mysplineGUI = c4d.SplineData()**
mysplineGUI.SetKnot(index=0, vPos= c4d.Vector(0,0,0)) #<-------Does not work!!!
Why do you create a new SplineData instance here ? It does not have any reference to the one in the gui, of course this will not work. Make the SplineData created in the Init method an attribute and access it where you need it.
