Hi all!
I'm considering making a time-limited demo of one of my plugins.

My idea is to use the SNHookClass, and compare "regdate" with "curdate" to check if the demo has expired.

Now to my question: Is this a reasonably safe way to do create a time limited demo? (I just want to make sure that it will not be super easy to crack my plugin)

Best regards
/Filip

Yes.  That the idea of the SNHookClass.  It is used to check for a valid serial number for registration or to track a demo time period.  Do a search of the forum (advanced) for more information.
