Hello,

Haven't used C4D in a while and in R12 some of the code got refactored.
Before I would export use something like this to export an OBJ:

import c4d
from c4d import *
from c4d.documents import *
from c4d import symbols as sy

docPath = doc.GetDocumentPath()
objPath = docPath+'/'+op.GetName()+'.obj'
SaveDocument(doc,objPath,sy.SAVEFLAG_AUTOSAVE,sy.FORMAT_OBJEXPORT)

The symbols package is gone in R12, and while in most cases I can replace sy with c4d
in most of my scripts, I can't find SAVEFLAG_AUTOSAVE.

Can anyone please tell me where will I find SAVEFLAG_AUTOSAVE to import it ?

Thanks,
George

Hi George,

SAVEFLAG_AUTOSAVE has been renamed to SAVEDOCUMENTFLAGS_AUTOSAVE.

Hello Yannick,

Thank you very much, that worked!

I think I'm using old documentation ( v1.0.1002 ) ?
I've just downloaded the R13 documentation.
Might be better to have more recent documetation, even
if I'm still using R12.

You can download the R12 Python SDK documentation at this page: http://www.maxon.net/en/support/other-sdk-downloads.html (direct link: http://http.maxon.net/pub/sdk/12/PythonDocumentation.zip).
