I'm very new to scripting in C4D, so forgive me if this is an inappropriate question:

I'm looking for a way to use points from an EPS (or other vector file) to align a series of objects. For instance, if I created a series of points in illustrator and saved an EPS, used that file to tell C4D where to clone and place a cube.

Is this something that's possible using any of these languages in C4D?

Thanks again for your help!

Yes, that is possible. You have to parse the EPS file on your own though.

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply. Would you recommend using COFFEE to accomplish this?

In this case  it's really up to your personal preference which language you feel more comfortable with.
