    Hi,

    i've written an Plugin which creates its Descriptions from Ressourcefile.
    My Problem is:
    Is it possible to change the visibility of an attribute (in Ressourcefile "HIDDEN") on runtime?
    I want to show or hide it in dependence of another attribute!

    Is this possible and if how?

    Greetings

    Ralf

    NodeData plugins (ObjectData, TagData etc.) can overload GetDEnabling to enable/disable description elements. Basically it's called for every description element and depending if you return TRUE or FALSE it's enabled or disabled. Please check the SDK examples to see how it's used.

    cheers,
    Matthias

    Hi,

    yes i thought of that, but my problem is: this function isn't called!
    My Syntax:

    Bool MyCameraTag::GetDEnabling(GeListNode* node, const DescID& id, GeData& t_data, LONG flags, const BaseContainer* itemdesc)
    {
       // My Code
      return TRUE;
    }

    (in Header its virtual)
    I couldn't find any difference between this function and the SDK function.

    I use Visual Studio C++ 2005

    Your declaration is wrong.

    It must be:

    virtual Bool GetDEnabling(GeListNode* node, const DescID& id, const GeData& t_data, LONG flags, const BaseContainer* itemdesc)

    t_data must be const.

    cheers,
    Matthias

    AHHH thanks,

    i have looked in the SDK Documentation for R11 ==> were is no const
    for R11.5 no .zip Documentation is available
    and in R12 i see: const is needed.

    Ok that helps a lot.

    Thanks for the fast help!
