--------- Just some questions about material inheritance and the scene hierarchy. Given a parent-child object scenario, it appears as if TextureTags are automatically inherited from the parent object/poly, when the child object/poly has no TextureTags. Two questions: - Are there any object flags that control this inheritance? For example, can it be enabled/disabled? - What else, besides TextureTags, are automatically inherited from the parent object in a C4D scene hierarchy? Thanks

A tag can have the TAG_HIERARCHICAL flag set to signal it should be inherited to its parent children.
In the child objects' tags of the same type it can then be checked if there exists a parent tag with this flag set.
To check for the flag use BaseList2D::GetInfo.
