the C4DThread class has a parameter "keeprunning" in version < 12.
R12 doesn't have this anymore, is this now true or false by default?
The transitioning docs don't give a clue.

Pre R12 this flag was used to assign a BaseThread exactly to a OS thread. Whenever Start() was called always the same OS thread was started. This had some advantages for software that interfaces with the OS. Since R12 there exists an internal thread pool which very much improved thread starting times and made keeprunning obsolete (for most cases). In case an assignment to an OS thread for the lifetime of a BaseThread is needed (should be only rarte cases) you can use THREADMODE_BIND_TO_THREAD.
