assuming I wrote a polygon object with WriteObject, does ReadObject() allocate or resize the object accordingly or does it have to be of the correct size already (as in poly, point etc. count)? Does it also store and read any attached nodes like tags?
The docs are very unclear on this.

The easiest way to test the results would be to call ReadObject() and see if you crash. That would be a quick determiner of memory prerequisites

I wanted to use Read/WriteObject because I wanted to..well..read and write an object to a hyperfile. But ok, with all these information it´s probably indeed more straight forward to store the polygon object and tag data myself. So I will do so.
