--------- Hello,
i like to generate an extrude NURB in my own object plugin.
BaseObject* CStaticTextClass::GetVirtualObjects(PluginObject *op, HierarchyHelp *hh) { BaseObject *main=NULL;
// group all further objects with this null object main = BaseObject::Alloc(Oextrude); ...
the plugin registration is
return RegisterObjectPlugin(PID_STATICTEXT, name, OBJECT_MODIFIER,....
Ok, i will get an object in the object manager. But if i moved an text spline under, i don't get the same behaviour like the standard Extrude NURBS object. I don't get the 3rd dimension. WHY??
regards Markus

That's because the spline object has to be a child object of the ExtrudeNURBS (as usual), which isn't the case if it's a child object of your generator.
Create a clone of the spline object and insert it as a child object under the ExtrudeNURBS object.
