    If you use the zlib (either the one supplied by Cinema's SDK or the one of the OS), make sure to check the arguments (esp. the pointers) you pass before calling uncompress or compress.

    I've lately stumbled over several 3rd party plugins that crash in the zlib code due to invalid arguments when the user changes the plugin parameters or deletes a tag of the plugin.
