how do I control the red and green dots in the attributes manager to set the objects as visible or not visible in the editor and in the renderer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hello You should ask to base object :

LONG estate = MyObject->GetEditorMode();
LONG rstate = MyObject->GetRenderMode();
LONG dstate MyObject->GetDeformMode();

MyObject->SetEditorMode(LONG mode);
MyObject->SetRenderMode(LONG mode);
MyObject->SetDeformMode(LONG mode);

mode can be for editor and render :
MODE_ON
MODE_OFF
MODE_UNDEF

and for deform mode :
TRUE or FALSE ;
