    I am trying to pre-set colorfields in my dialog, but don't get the expected result. I can only set the major RGB colors.

    In my code, both

    SetColorField(ID_COLORFIELD,Vector(255,0,0),1,1,0);

    and

    SetColorField(ID_COLORFIELD,Vector(120,0,0),1,1,0);

    produce the same red color (255,0,0). However, using the color slide bars then lets me chose other colors ... how can I preset the ColorField to other values than 255 or 0??

    Thanks, Juergen.

    That should help as that is how color values are set in C4D. :)

    Thanks so much ... won't guess how long I spent on something simple like that!

    Well, though it's sadly not part of the documentation, there are hints in some examples...

    However, the SDK is missing a number of overview articles with things that can be missed easily.
