Is there any way to stop Cinema 4D from creating bug report files while developing? It is pretty much a given that during development of a plugin (especially complex), there are going to be cycles of crashes and fixes caused by the plugin.

Thanks,

Preferences->Common->Allow Bugreports

Stops at least the box that tries to send them to Maxon

Not sending them (or requesting to send) but creating them. I already have that disabled. But it would be nice not to collect a large set of recovered scenes and such since the crashes are expected. 🙂

Thanks,

The easiest way should be starting Cinema from the debugger (when testing your plugin; doesn't matter if its release or debug code), as the debugger should catch the exception first. If you simply terminate the process (Cinema) in case of a crash and no crashreports or recovery scenes will be written.
