Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to save the sate of an object so that users can revert back to that state if need be. For example, if the users add my tag plugin to their geometry, I would like the tag to store the state of the object when the tag is added and then provide access to the original state through the click of a button. Would I use GetCache() for this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,.

~Shawn

To retain an original state you could simply add a function that sets the resource descriptions in the BaseContainer to default values. You should already be doing something similar in the Init() function (hint). You could then have the Init() function call this function as well as a button do the same. Remember that the button will trigger a MSG_DESCRIPTION_COMMAND in the Message() function with the button's resource ID.
