What function would I use to determine if new points have been added to a given mesh?

For example, I want my plugin to be constantly looking for new points to be added to the mesh, If the user does for example, an extrude, they would have added points to the mesh. I then want my plugin to realize that that has happened and to do something as a result of it. I just can't figure out how to determine if new points have been added?

    Thanks in advance.

You have to check for messages in Message() of the type MSG_POINTS_CHANGED (a bit obvious ;) ). Haven't used this myself but it appears that changes to the object will be passed to its tags - but that is all. You can't get these messages on a tag on an object for another object as far as I know. For that, you may need to employ a Message plugin (MessageData) or a SceneHook plugin (SceneHookData).

Yeah I suppose "MSG_POINTS_CHANGED" is a bit obvious huh?
