Greetings,
I'm hoping to use COFFEE (already am) to teach students basic programming. COFFEE's immediate response within C4D makes it ideal as it shows the students how and why their coding affects 3D objects within the app.
But... COFFEE seems to be stuck at version 9.5. And with newer versions of C4D, it seems that COFFEE is not being updated to accommodate those versions.
1. Is there any plan to slowly fade COFFEE out of the picture?
2. I notice that C++ seems to be replacing functions, etc. now non-working COFFEE ones. So, is it safe to say that I can "easily" replace C++ code within COFFEE code and still get the quick response?
I would hate to design a fun curriculum around COFFEE on ly find out that support will be minimal or lacking in the future.
Need advice. Thanks.
Richard
