It is my understanding the Mathias is away, still the License Server
what abouts is starting the hit the fan, so to speak.
Simply put, I'm not able to deliver orders, simply because there is nowhere to get info about how the handle, in my case, the "SysGetUserInfo(6)".
It does return the"Serial Server serial".
But what is that?
Is it the Server itself? So all connected Clients get the same return-number.
Or is it the return of -each- MultiServerLicense? (Is it a thing called that?)
My latest customers are sending me this kind of info:
CINEMA 4D R11 [11-0-1000] <<1010000xxx6>> Single
CINEMA 4D R11 [11-0-1000] <<1010000xxx7>> Multi (x3) via server.
How shall we interpret that?
What does the Single return? ("SysGetUserInfo(1)"?.
And what does the Multi (x3) via server return? "SysGetUserInfo(6)"?
Does the "(x3)" mean that that specific bundle can be installed on 3 machines running at the same time?
Sorry for the comotion..I'll try to get his over the phone tomorrow Monday as well.
Cheers
