Hi,
sry if this is a little not-sdk related but i need a little input from you professional plugin devs
i made a plug thats works with r9 and up and some customers bought it for R9.
i was asked if they can have a r10 serial for free when they update to r10 (and r11 later), so i was wondering what other devs do in this case?
i get paid for a single usage license of my plug that is linked to 1 copy of c4d.
if i give the r10 compatible serial away for free, the plug can be used with r9 and r10+, so the customer would technically own two licenses..
i know this is up to the dev in the end, i was just wondering how others here handle this case..
do you charge customers again who need a serial upgrade, bc their base c4d serial changed?
thanks for your input,
cineast
