This makes using any kind of equation describing an objects motion along a spline useless. I'm forced to use a Linear spline and I lose my curves. Can't we make another kind of spline?

If you are talking about getting the interpolation using COFFEE you need to use the "UniformTonatural" function after a InitLen() of the spline/splinesegment. In other words, the settings in the AM of the splineobject is not counted for in a COFFEE script.
