As far as I understand it the RayObjects are only connected to the Generator object itself and not the children of the Generator. So in your case there is no direkt relation to the objects in the Cloner and the RayObjects. I think you have to go through the original document if you really want to access the original objects. I will ask the devlopers though, maybe they have an idea.
