    Hello.

I have an assembly of several components from CAD-files. The conversion to c4d-files was okay but now I have to reassemble the part-files to an assembly in Cinema. In CAD the exported matrices are right hand side - in C4D they're all left hand side.
After recreation of the assembly structure I thought it would be easy to set the local Matrices of the single parts - but there is the problem, that all components that have to be translated and rotated are in the wrong position. Does anybody have an idea that can help me?
The matrice out of CAD has the following structure:

    [vx.x, vx.y, vx.z, 0]
    [vy.x, vy.y, vy.z, 0]
    [vz.x, vz.y, vz.z, 0]
    [v0.x, v0.y, vo.z, 1]

The corresponding matrice-structure in the Coffee-SDK is nearly the same - I recognized the difference, I think.

    Thanks in advance

You probably only have to exchange the second and the third line of the matrix, like this.

    [vx.x, vx.y, vx.z, 0]
    [vz.x, vz.y, vz.z, 0]
    [vy.x, vy.y, vy.z, 0]
    [v0.x, v0.y, vo.z, 1]

    cheers,
    Matthias
