I would like to give my users a good documentation for my plugin, and keep the CINEMA 4D workflow.
So I wonder if there's a possibility to somehow inject own HTML help files into the integrated help system? Any chance? Or should I just forget about that and deliver a PDF manual?
Thanks for information!

No idea as it is too new to say (only introduced in R10 - before that it was a, well, PDF manual).
Hopefully Matthias can provide better information when he returns. That said, if you can figure out the dir.csv and index.csv and add your html to the structures, then it should be possible. It is only html.
And that said ;), there is nothing to stop you from making your own html and launching a browser. Integrate a basic search engine and off you go.

Access is officially not supported. I am also waiting for MAXON to officially support it in order to include it for my plugin. However, as long as there is no official support I won´t use it.
But as Kuro said, you can create HTMLs and simply call them in a browser, but of course that wouldn´t allow for context-sensitivity (unless there is a way to catch the according message which I don´t know).

OK, well, then it will be just PDF, as always.
Thanks for your answers!

As mentioned there is no official support for integrating 3rd party documentation into the Cinema help yet.
