--------- Hi,
i've just started with the C++ Cinema SDK.
How can i change a value of an Object?
For example the Radius of a Sphere or the texture filename of a Channel.
I understand that i can get a container by calling BaseObject::GetData() and use this container to change values. But I don't know where i can find the values (IDS) for a given object.
Sorry for my english

the easiest way to obtain the description IDs is to drag the description element into the Console input field.
for instance to change the radius of a sphere your code should look like this:
BaseContainer *data = op->GetDataInstance(); data->SetReal(PRIM_SPHERE_RAD, 50); op->Message(MSG_UPDATE); EventAdd();
If you change lready existing objects don't forget to use AddUndo/EndUndo to let the users undo/redo their action.
cheers, Matthias
