GetSurfaceData in VP

Hi,

does it make any difference if I evaluate GetSurfaceData() in the VP CalcVolumetric or in a shader in CalcVolumetric?

Because GetSurfaceData() doesn´t seem to take into account any geometry anti-aliasing? Is there a way to make it see GAA too?
