--------- I am trying to export animation to a custom format by stepping through the document frame-by-frame, and extracting the object matrices. Now, it seems like they don't change with animation (though sometimes they do?)
I use SetTime() and AnimateDocument() to get the document to the correct time.
I have a walking figure animated and it uses IK targets to move, but I would like to get the "baked" frames. An object which uses position animation exports fine, eg. I can see the changes in the matrix in the exported file, but using IK doesn't seem to work this way.
Is there a way to get the current matrix (or position/rotation/scale) of an object?
Thanks, - D.G
