--------- DescriptionCheckDragAndDrop *dcu = static_cast<DescriptionCheckDragAndDrop*>(data); switch (dcu->id[0].id) { case DPT_BASE_FOUND: vdata->SetLink(DPT_BASE_FOUND,(BaseObject* )dcu->element); break; return TRUE; } That´s how I am checking for a linkfield drag & drop. This works but when the user once got over the field the dragged object is definetly set. So there must be a way to only accept the dragged element if the user actually drops it into the field. (as it is in Cinema 4D) And the big question: How is this done? Thanks in advance Best Samir
