Simple Poygon Problem

hi there...
im starting to programm with the c++ SDK.
The Dialogs and the Dialog resources are no problem,
but i cant create a simple polygon and a simple cube.

can anyone show me a short example how to manage that ?

i cant believe that it should be so difficult...

i found the c4d_baseobject. is the GeneratePrmitive Member the right thing for a simple cube ?
i think that for the Polygon Object i have to use the class Object Data(Generator)...
