Shader in transparency channel

My shader uses tracegeometry() and Illuminance3() and works quite well in color, diffuse and luminance channel. But when I use it in transparency channel, Cinema crashes after the first or second editor render of the object. The material preview is rendered fine btw.
Is there some special flag I have to set to make this shader also work in the transparency channel or is this a bug?
