SOLVED Type Viewer not working in Visual Studio 2015

Hallo,

I found the c4dapi.natvis file in R20's cinema.framework. Very happy to see they are still being delivered along with the SDK.

However, it does not work. At all. I copied it to the suggested locations:

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 14.0\Common7\Packages\Debugger\Visualizers
  • C:\Users[My_Name]\Documents\Visual Studio 2015\Visualizers

It does not help, I can't see the value of any of Cinema's data types. Any tips?

Thanks in advance & greetings,
Frank

Hi @fwilleke80 does it solved the issue?

Cheers, Riccardo

Didn't have the chance to boot up my Windows so far, but will report once I did 🙂

I did today, including it in projectdefinition.txt worked smoothly, thank you!
If I ever find out why copying it do the folders does not work, I'll post it here.

@fwilleke80 thanks Frank for acknowledging!

I'll mark the thread as solved now
