Hyperlink in AM

Hi again! ;)

I want to display a "help link" in the attribute manager opened in default user browser and tried it as shown in here via .res, .h and .str - with the same result Klaus explained.

So, is there a new workaround or an equivalent for GeOpenHTML() in Python?

Cheers,
Mark.

Hi,

I'm afraid there's still no workaround for this limitation with HYPERLINK description elements.
It seems there's an issue giving the actual HYPERLINK text and destination strings in Python.

To open a web page with Python, you can use standard library's  webbrowser module and its open() function.

Hello Yannick!

Sorry, I could have figured that out myself, but was lost in cinema4d space... ;)
Thank you very much!
